Your personal data specified in categories below are collected electronically through the Event Entrance Registration Form that you have filled in as a Participant-Visitor and other documents declared by you and stored in electronic media.
Your personal data collected by the above-mentioned methods are used by GMT for the purposes listed below, in particular as specified in Article 5 of the KVKK;
1. It is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation,
2. It is collected based on the legal grounds that data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Transfer of Your Personal Data to Third Parties
GMT transfers your personal data to domestic and foreign third parties only for the purposes specified in this Clarification Text and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the LPPD.
If you wish to use the Entry Registration function created by GMT within the scope of the Event, your personal data specified under the headings of identity, contact and professional experience above will be shared with the participant you wish to communicate with in order to ensure communication between you and the participant you wish to communicate with, after the meeting day and time has been agreed with the relevant participant.
The personal data subject to the above-mentioned domestic transfer are transferred and stored by GMT and third parties to whom the transfer is made by taking all necessary security measures and technical measures. In addition, your personal data is also legally protected by data processing agreements concluded with third parties to whom GMT transfers your personal data as the data controller.
Deletion, Destruction and Anonymization of Your Personal Data
Your personal data collected in line with the purposes and means described above will be processed by GMT in accordance with the KVKK, with care and confidentiality. Your personal data is processed for the period required by our company's purpose of processing that data and for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation, and then deleted, destroyed or anonymized. During the period of processing your personal data, only persons authorized within our company will have access to your personal data, provided that it is in accordance with the necessity of the business.
Upon expiration of the stipulated period, your personal data will be immediately destroyed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the KVKK and the Turkish Penal Code, the "Regulation on Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data" and our company policies.
Your Rights as a Data Subject
As a Data Subject, you have the following rights set out in Article 11 of the LPPD:
a) Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
b) Request information if personal data has been processed,
c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
d) To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
e) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
f) To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
g) To object to the emergence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand the compensation of the damage.
You can submit your requests regarding your rights listed above to our company free of charge by filling out and signing the Application Form with the information and documents that will identify your identity and the methods specified below or other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board:

(4) Writing "Personal Data Protection Law Information Request" in the e-mail subject section and sending it to info@africatourismforum.com address by using your e-mail address that is not in our company's system, including mobile signature / e-signature
Your requests in question will be evaluated and finalized as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. Our Company reserves the right to charge a fee over the fee tariff (if any) determined by the Personal Data Protection Board regarding the requests.
